Cornish

These distinctive potatoes taste spring fresh, with a lovely, nutty flavour and a smooth, waxy texture – perfect for salads and light meals.

THEY DO MORE

The fresh flavour of Cornish, and their waxy texture, is an irresistible combination. Did you know, waxy potatoes hold their shape better than their floury cousins? This gives them a firmer bite – which is why they’re great for salads. Or you can simply boil them and enjoy with a little butter drizzled over the top. They’re easy to prepare, too, with a delicate skin which rubs off easily. Simply scrub and boil your Cornish whole for a delicious side to any meat or fish dish.

Cornish are available seasonally, in spring. They’re harvested just after the Jersey Royals’ season ends – and have a similar just-picked flavour and smooth texture. It means you can enjoy the very best that the British growing season has to offer, for longer.
