Rooster
Iain and Alan Sim grow potatoes, wheat, barley and oil seed rape on their farms on the East Coast of Scotland.
They manage a Rural Stewardship Scheme which helps to encourage wildlife and enhance the natural environment. Wild bird strips and wild rush pasture along with an extensive area of uncultivated land ensures that a wide range of indigenous species thrive on the farms. Livestock is limited to a small herd of Luing cattle.
