Bratwurst Loaded Potatoes

If you’re looking at creating some pre-post or game food for all of your friends and family check out our chilled range and try this recipe for yourself!

Cooking PotMETHOD

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or gas mark 6.

  2. Place the bratwursts on a baking tray and drizzle lightly with olive oil and roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until they are cooked through and golden brown.

  3. While the bratwursts are cooking, follow the instructions on the pack of Albert Bartlett Parmentier Potatoes to cook them. This can typically be done in the oven alongside the bratwursts.

  4. If using store-bought currywurst sauce, heat it according to the package instructions. If homemade, warm it up in a small saucepan over low heat until hot.

  5. If using store-bought sauerkraut, drain any excess liquid. If desired, you can warm it slightly in a pan over low heat.

  6. Once the bratwursts are cooked, let them cool slightly before slicing them into 1 cm thick pieces.

  7. Place the cooked Parmentier potatoes on a serving platter, top with the sliced bratwursts, spoon the warmed currywurst sauce over the bratwursts and potatoes, add the sauerkraut on top or on the side and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!
