Cheeky Chilli Beans with Baked Potatoes

A gorgeous warming dish from Sally Bee, perfect for Bonfire Night.

Cooking PotMETHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 200c / gas mark 6.

  2. Pop the Original Rooster Potatoes in the oven for 50-60 minutes and they'll be perfect.

  3. Meanwhile, to make the chilli beans, put a medium-sized saucepan over a medium heat.

  4. Pop in the olive oil, the drained beans, passata, garlic, chilli flakes, muscovado sugar, Worcester sauce & black pepper.

  5. Give this a really good stir and let it bubble away for 8-10 minutes.

  6. When the beans are piping hot, serve on top of the baked Rooster potato with a sprinkling of chives.

4 Albert Bartlett Original Rooster Potatoes
2 400g Tin Mixed Beans (drained & rinsed)
1 Red Chilli (deseeded & chopped) or 1 Teaspoon Chilli Flakes
1 Clove Garlic (peeled & crushed)
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Pinch of LoSalt
500g Carton of Tomato Passata
2 Teaspoons Light Muscovado Sugar
Slurp of Worcester Sauce
