Hasselback Original Rooster Potatoes

Easy to make, delightfully delicious & pleasing on the eye!

Cooking PotMETHOD

  1. Preheat your oven to Gas mark 7 / 220 degrees C.

  2. Drizzle some oil onto an oven proof dish.

  3. Wash and dry your potatoes, then using a sharp knife slice very thinly and vertically almost all the way through.
    (a wooden spoon is a handy tool when cutting. By placing a potato on a wooden spoon, the knife will not slice all the way through).

  4. Mix the oil, spices and garlic together in a small bowl and then brush mixture lightly over the top of each potato.

  5. Place in an oven proof dish and bake for 35 minutes, take them out of the oven and add the butter over each potato.

  6. Place back in the oven and cook for a further 15 minutes.

6 Albert Bartlett Original Rooster Potatoes
1/3 cup oil
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 clove of garlic minced
2 tbsp butter
