Italian Inspired Loaded Fries

Cooking PotMETHOD

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (200°C fan) or gas mark 7.

  2. Spread the Albert Bartlett classic fries in a single layer on a baking tray and cook the fries in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until they are golden and crispy, turning halfway through cooking.

  3. While the fries are cooking, grate the mozzarella cheese and set it aside.

  4. Once the fries are cooked, remove the baking tray from the oven, sprinkle the grated mozzarella evenly over the hot fries and return the tray to the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. Remove the tray from the oven again and drizzle the pesto evenly over the melted mozzarella and fries.

  6. Sprinkle the crispy onions on top of the fries, melted mozzarella, and pesto.

  7. Optionally, garnish with fresh basil leaves for an extra burst of flavour and colour. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!

150g mozzarella cheese, grated
4 tablespoons of pesto (store-bought or homemade)
50g crispy onions (store-bought or homemade)
