Simply wash and roast in a pre-heated oven (200°C) for 30 minutes, wrap in foil and take on your picnic with you.
Jersey Royal potatoes have such a delicious and summery taste, it’s a shame to only have them at home. I like to roast up a tray full with a sprinkling of sea salt and take them on a picnic with a pot of crème fraîche dip with handful of chopped chives.
