Microwave your mash as per the instructions.
Mix in butter and milk until you reach the perfect consistency.
Put the mashed potato into a piping bag, and pipe onto a non-stick tray to create potato swirls.
Place the tray into a preheated oven at 180oC / 160oC Fan Assisted / Gas mark 5 for around 10 minutes, or until the outside has gone crispy.
Serve as an alternative to classic mashed potato or as a canapé.
Try brushing with olive oil before the pop ups go into the oven – they’ll be even crispier.
