Rooster
Alongside growing Rooster for us, Andy also grows carrots, parsnips, wheat, barley, sugar beet and oil seed rape. He plants trees and hedgerows and has installed owl boxes in the area, in order to encourage a natural environment for the wildlife. His farm is part of the Entry Level Stewardship scheme as well as the Farm Woodland Scheme. O.W Wortley & Sons LTD are committed to growing crops in accordance with assured produce schemes. Nature conservation is not new to them as they have been planting trees since 1989.
