Apache

An eye-catching potato that is sweet tasting with a buttery, nutty-flavoured flavour. An easy alternative for roast potatoes, Apache is every bit as delicious as its more conventional cousins.

THEY DO MORE

There’s no mistaking the Apache potato, with is warm-red skin dotted with cream-coloured patches. They look like chestnuts – and they taste like chestnuts, too. This small, round, colourful variety combines the sweet buttery, nutty flavour with a slightly waxy texture. When scrubbed and cooked whole, it’s a great alternative to the usual ‘peeled and cut’ roast potatoes. And they look great on the plate! For maximum impact – the secret to keeping their contrasting colours bright is to blanche them first, before roasting whole in their skins.

Our Apaches may look a little different, but just like conventional potatoes they are packed full of flavour and goodness. And they’re just as easy to cook with.
