Rooster Skin On Roasties

Skin on roasties, a perfect twist on traditional roast potatoes by Sally Bee.

Cooking PotMETHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 200C.

  2. Wash potatoes and cut them into even sized quarters.

  3. Add to pan of cold water and bring to the boil and cook for 10 minutes until the potatoes are soft, then drain and return to the pan.

  4. Put a lid on the pan and shake the potatoes to roughen the edges, then place on a baking tray.

  5. Sprinkle with celery salt and garlic powder then drizzle with olive oil, ensuring potatoes are evenly coated.

  6. The skins will start to fall off but that's OK, it just makes them extra crunchy!

  7. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes until golden and delicious.

4-6 Rooster Potatoes
2 tsp celery salt
2 tsp garlic powder
4 tbsp olive oil
