Simon and Rupert Stearn

Father and son, Simon and Rupert, grow potatoes, wheat, sugar beet, oilseed rape and carrots. They are part of Entry Level Stewardship which means they deliver simple and effective environmental management across the whole farm. They are also involved with Countryside Stewardship and help to conserve English landscapes, their wildlife and history to help people enjoy them.

In the winter months they operate Wild Bird Cover, which provides vital food for seed-eating birds throughout these cold months when other traditional food sources are no longer available.

They enjoy working with the local community and donate to the local police initiative for young people. With six race horses in training, any time away from farming is easily filled!
